Our church Coffee morning is held every fourth Thursday from 10.30am until 12pm in the church for anyone who would like to come along. It’s an informal way of meeting new friends and getting to know us at Ebenezer. We’d love to welcome you and have a chat! We serve coffee, tea, cheese scones and homemade cakes. Towards the end of the morning, our Pastor, James Alsop, gives a short Bible-based talk. We have several people who now come to church regularly having got to know us through the coffee morning first. You are of course very welcome to join us too for our Sunday services at 11am and 6pm.

The coffee morning is one of our longest-serving ministries and has been going for over 25 years. If you’re curious about the Christian faith, then just ask!

On the 1st Wednesday of each month, we have an afternoon Prayer meeting at 1pm alongside our

usual 7.30pm prayer meeting

We start our meeting with praise and prayer, followed by a short message from the Bible, aimed at explaining what the Bible teaches us.

About 6 times a year we also have an evening where we’ll invite a speaker from a Christian missionary organisation to update us on their ongoing work and share ways in which we can help to support them.

The prayer meeting is our weekly opportunity to meet and collectively thank God for all of His blessings to us and to bring our prayer requests to him.

We aim to finish by 8.30pm.
